I’ve recently been working on some renderings for a new project at work located in Honduras. In an attempt to avoid a computer generated appearance, these renderings experiment with multiple techniques to realize a more artistic painterly look. I’m in the process of creating some new tutorials that better describe these techniques. As with most of the renderings on this site, the images where created using Sketchup as the modeler, base rendering done with Kerkythea, and lots of Photoshop for the post processing.

Looks awesome, as usual. Can't wait for the tutorials. Did you apply the wood texture in sketchup or is that photoshop?
Hey Castle,
Great name. The ceiling of the church was a material applied in Sketchup. However, most of the other wood textures were applied in photoshop.
Looking forward to the tutorials!!!
Any idea on when you'll be able to upload them?
