The night renderings for the Jindu Project posted a couple of weeks ago had a cobble stone street that was Photoshopped to look wet. Adding a reflection such as this adds a bit more excitement to the image compared to leaving it flat. I have always liked architectural projects with large reflecting pools in front. In illustrations, rendering the parking lot or street wet can give you that same kind of look. The video below explains the pretty easy work flow of how to Photoshop a street to appear wet.
I was hoping for a tutorial of the whole thing. Thanks anyway.
im sorry..i had your renderings in my portfolio..im a 2nd year architecture student and a fan of you..in fact.i added you in facebook and sent you a gratitude…i get it here in your blog…i used it in our school project `company portfolio`…but dont worry i ddnt used it for commercial purposes..and i acknowledged your work in my portfolio that i submitted to our instructor..i have to tag my name there supposing it was my company`s work..but anyway i know it was wrong…and im sincerely sorry for it..godbless..!

I’m sorry, but for those of us who are somewhat new to Photoshop, the decision to make a tutorial involving music *with words* was…incomprehensible and unwise. Disappointed to have that distraction, which made me give up on your tutorial all together.
If you Paid Attention!!!!!, below the video on this page there is a link to the tutorial without sound. He took his time to make a whole website around tutorials, be happy people do this for free in the world. Otherwise you could go figure it all out without his videos.
turn the volume down Sherlock, or off altogether
Shame on you people saying negative things and selling shit and taking credit for other people’s work! Alex gave his time and shared his incredible skill with us for free: let’s be grateful for that instead of berating him for his choice of music.
I think what these people mean to say is, thank you Alex!
