   hey, i came across your awesome ( for lack of better words, i honestly cant find more fitting words to describe ) site and had a look how you utilized rhino,grasshopper to formulate your masterplan..and i must say i am keen to pick your brain on this. im a 3rd year architecture student, and i have just picked up rhino and found grasshopper to be very useful,efficient and surprisingly innovative way to go about my design ideas and concept using data i collected from site. and when i see your grasshopper table of formula..well mate it is mindbogglingly complex.. which is superb,

   how did you go with this initially? you had a lot of trials and errors? you had manuals to read from, which in the end im sure our imagination is the limit.

   well i guess all i want is just a brief pointers, tips and tricks maybe..i am not even sure what i want..its just looking at your work, and your thought process really inspired me.

   thanks for your time, sorry for the gibberish i worote.. its 2 am here and i really am just impressed with all these, and had to say something, at the very least, but if you can get back to me with a piece of advice or 2, it would be brilliant!

   Hey audyB

   First, thanks for the kind words and spending time on the site.

   I started learning Grasshopper last summer by essentially going through every (video) tutorial I could find, whether I thought it would help or not (a lot of the websites are linked on this website). This allowed me to see what tutorials where out there and how grasshopper was being used to solve certain situations. Eventually, I got to the point that I could create definitions from scratch, using ideas from tutorials I saw, but developing new ideas. Like you said, eventually you get to the point that your imagination is the limit, which is pretty exciting.

   Video tutorials were the quickest way for me to learn the program. I also went through the Primer and manuals on the Grasshopper website. Taking the tutorials and definitions you find, and reverse engineering them and changing parts on them also make for quick learning. I hope this answers your questions, and let me know if you have any others.
